Hello Everybody

I reinstalling my OS on my PowerBook (10.4.11) and need a copy of RC ExifMeta that still runs on LR2.  Can anybody PM me, and give it to me?

Thanks in advance.  I just see no reason to discard a perfectly good tool, because some software is newer and better...  Ah...  The forced upgrade cycles pushed by Adobe, Microsoft and Apple...

Thanks, indeed, that part works correctly now!

Unfortunately though, I have another problem now.     The file in the window in which I would normally select the plugin update is "greyed out."

I was able to install the new plugin in a different user account in which it was a fresh install.  That worked.  However, I can not get it to update a plugin that is already installed.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Dear All

I noticed in the release notes that ExifMeta strating with version 5.3 includes EXIFTool.  Does this mean that if I have an older version of  EXIFTool installed that ExifMeta will now overwrite that oder version of EXIFTool?

Also, what if I have a newer version of EXIFTool installed?  What will happen then?

I don't really have a problem with this, I just want to know the details so I can manage accordingly.  Can anybody share what they know here?

Hello All

I just used the check for updates function using Plugin 5.2 and LR4.4 on OS X 10.6.8.  I found out that a new version, 5.4, is available.  So, I went do the download.  Then, I found out that the current version is 5.5.

Why does ExifMeta tell me that 5.4 is available and not 5.5?

Any ideas?

So, thanks to Rob, I'm more-or-less set now.  

Since starting to use LR and scanning my film, I have been adding the exif data in customized spaces.  Today, I just found out how to make it pay off!
