Title: Update Plugin file not choosable Post by: sidsyd on January 03, 2012, 10:35:51 am When I click on Check for Update the Lightroom Plugin Manager, it says that I have ExifMeta 3.8.4 and that 3.8.5 is available for download. After I download 3.8.5 onto my MacBook Pro running OS 10.6.8, I click Update Plugin and navigate to the newly created directory RC_ExifMeta_LrPlugin_3.8.5, containing the license, readme, and ExifMeta.lrplugin files. The ExifMeta.lrplugin file is grayed out, so I can't highlight it and choose it. What should I do?
Title: Re: Update Plugin file not choosable Post by: areohbee on January 03, 2012, 01:51:55 pm I just tried to reproduce the problem, but it worked OK for me, so I've no clue just yet. I'll be out of town for a couple days and will look into it again upon return.
If there is any additional info that you think might help trouble-shoot, do tell... Anybody else having, or not having this trouble? I run Lightroom on a Mac now running Lion but had the same issue under Snow Leopard. The other plugins that offer updating through the Plugin Manager also exhibit the same behavior.
